Hi, I’m Christa.
I’ve spent most of my career growing in-house digital teams for creative companies such as HBO, SoulCycle, Ubisoft Games and Paramount Pictures and the consistent thread across has been driving innovative strategies, leading digital transformation and energizing teams across a shared vision to deliver outstanding work.
During my four years at HBO, I led Digital and Social strategies that propelled programs such as Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and Silicon Valley to become household names. In my second role at HBO, I helped build HBO NOW’s start-from-scratch D2C marketing capabilities that transformed HBO from a content-centric business to a data-driven organization.
Prior to HBO, I grew Ubisoft’s digital team into a strategic powerhouse that broadened their audience and made this underdog more effective at competing for market share. My team marketed 22 games, including award-winning campaigns for AAA titles, Assassins Creed, Just Dance and Far Cry.
Over the last five years, I’ve applied the culmination of my global brand experience to elevate entrepreneurial businesses. As the VP of Marketing for Compass, I activated a multi-$M marketing effort to generate consumer demand and led new revenue-generating agent product initiatives that translated to significant profit.
As a consultant, I’ve had the pleasure of partnering with startups and global brands across Fintech, Health & Wellness, Media, and B2B Tech. I love what I do, take great pride in the output of my work and care deeply about my client’s success.
A commitment to elevating
women in business
As women face an uphill battle for equal representation, I carve out a portion of my time to devote to private and non-profit organizations that are devoted to elevating women in business.
As such, I volunteer my time and marketing expertise to help relevant nonprofits, such as She Should Run and Women Do Everything, succeed. I founded a project called Know Our Work and authored an op-ed, Mothers haven’t stepped back. They’ve stepped up., designed to inspire confidence in mothers returning to the workforce who left due to COVID-19. I’m also a Board Advisor for a financial education startup, Penny Finance, whose mission is to ensure the next generation of women are financial powerhouses.
I believe modeling the world we want to create for the future matters. The actions, big and small, we do or do not do today will influence the future of women in the workforce, as well as the future of innovation in business. I welcome the opportunity to connect with more people and businesses eager to collaborate on elevating women in business.
